Given that the GTS/GT4 wing is adjustable, I'm guessing it generates a lot more downforce than the bootlid.

The wing will generate more down force but it looks hideous IMO. Looks like a $45 Pep Boys special that belongs on a riced out Civic.

Here's a test conducted by Sports Auto showing the wing's functionality. Also attached a few pictures of the wing installed on our cars. Let me know if you have more questions

Tightie is selling his M24 wing if you want something that's priced reasonably well and proven on BMW's in WTCC and BTCC. Just in case you want something like the GTS wing but just a bit different.

You actually using it for track purposes or just looks? Just asking, because if you're not using it for the functionality then I'd go with something a little more subtle. The wing is great for it's functionality but looks horrific IMO. I am a fan of the OEM perfomance spoiler. I got mine from IND with the top part painted AW like my car. Looks pretty good, adds a nice touch.

to be honest, im getting the wing for looking, and from what i have searched, the gts wing is the best looking for my test, do you recommend any better looking one?

+1 It all depends what you are trying to achieve. If aesthetics are your main goal, Vorsteiner FTW! If you track and are looking for functionality, than the GTS wing would provide more downforce.

this is funny.. LMAO...

OP if you have an aggressive front set up then yes get the wing.. if your car is not drop and dont have a front set up lip your car will look stupid with just the wing...

I don't recommend a wing at all if it's just for looks, but that's my opinion so take it with a grain of salt. The wing just looks silly on the street, you're not racing the car so why have it?

If you're only looking to decide between the VRS Bootlid and the GTS wing, then get the vorsteiner, because (IMO) the wing will look silly.

Unless your going to see the track just get the Boot lid. If your actually going to use the wing to its full potential then by all means go for it

no aftermarket trunk will ever fit as flush as OEM but if taken
to a reputable shop that has experience like IND for example then
there shouldnt be any issues.

I would do the bootlid.

+1 Unless it's a track dedicated car you would have to be crazy to want to drive around with something like that on the street every day.
