I would like to run a 275/30/19 front with the 359 rear wheel and my current 285/30/19 for the rear.
What you think Malek?? Dave

This is not a problem at all. The 30 series opens a lot of room.

Correct. Funny isn't it.
Not sure how to differentiate between a bad vs. slight rub. I can tell you though that it rubbed through the liner in a spot about 1 inch long (top to bottom) and about 1/8" wide side to side. |

Interesting. Maybe a 10" wheel stretches the tire enough to lower the diameter sufficiently to avoid rubbing? Never thought about that as a solution. Guess I could measure the diameter or my 359 street wheels to see if the 10" width makes a difference.

Am I to understand that a square set of rear 220 wheels with 275-30-19 ad08's all around fits a stock car without problems? I am about to pull the trigger on this.

Bump on this thread since it doesn't have a definitive answer to the OP's original question (nor can I find an answer in any other thread), and I'm contemplating this to get around some understeer that's now in my way as I've increased my skills on the track -- but I would be running this setup full-time since I don't yet want to deal with dedicated track wheels and tires. Will OEM rear 220Ms with OEM rear tires fit on the front of a non-ZCP M3 with no modifications? If so, will they protrude outside the fender, and if so by how much? And will they rub at all, and if so how much wheel lock will it take, and does it just tear up the fender liner or will it damage the tire as well?

Thinking of just getting new wheels all together, maybe a set of HRE or BBS next summer.

A quick update:
I am now running 19x9.5 220Ms with 275/30 PS4S on all four corners with no rubbing. Ive got about 120 miles on the setup so far and it feels great. Ive got some 10mm spacers on the way for the rear to bring them out to the same width as the front. Will upload pics later on. Thanks |
