BMW Performance carbon fiber rear spoiler

I have been thinking of buying the BMW carbon fiber rear spoiler for my E92. Has anyone on the forum seen it in person? I am concerned its going to look like an after thought and possible make the car look cheap. Also the angle on the spoiler looks pretty steep in some pictures. Your thoughts and experience would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I have searched on this subject on multiple forums, I can't say anything I have seen has convinced me either way. Looking for new information or pictures on it.

Thanks

Unfortunately, this spoiler only fits the E92, not the E90 or E93. There's a different BMW Performance spoiler for the E90 that's similar to this one, but not as pronounced.

Just had one installed last Thursday. Had it painted to color match my car. The steepness you're talking about I think looks pretty sexy. I think it's the correct shape for the car. I think it doesn't look cheap at all, it adds sportiness. I will say that as of now I'm not totally blown away by it. I would say I really like it, and it might grow on me to the point where I love it, but not blown away.

I have it as well on my Jerez M3, the weave is a perfect match for our carbon fiber roof pattern. Just use Betalink, its worth it to keep it looking OEM, fit and finish is way better than your ebay and aftermarket competition.

None of the genuine BMW M Performance carbon fiber parts that I have seen match the carbon fiber roof at all! A different weave, they all match each other, but not the roof!

Do you have to get it from BMW OEM or there are some cheaper alternatives?

I've got one for sale if your're interested. The only thing is that it has the Le Mans Blue stripe on the top edge of the spoiler. PM me if you're interested.

I'm sure they are, but in all honesty we aren't talking about a Voltex wing here, this is an add on spoiler. Minimal performance to be gained from this 95% cosmetic addition to the car.

with that said, its still my favorite spoiler for E90/E92
