Yea I agree Lucid, in terms of wieght, pretty bad!! Need to weight the Performance seats again so that we have this streight. But whatever the case, it isn't gong to be a huge weight savings.

Updated pics:
The front apron has a non-stick silver coating sprayed on to make the first mould. Then they make another apron using that mould, smooth out all the minor surface imperfections from the clay, check all measurements, and make the final mould. Production pieces can then be made.

Better pictures of the rear apron which is coming together nicely. All that carbon fibre is looking good.

The body kit looks very clean and functional. Looking good! Are they also going to work on the side skirts?

Gritz, the slight abnormalities you identified will be entirely worked out, this is just a mold and imperfections are eliminated in the final design.

OK, Ryan over at RDSports just weighed the BMW Performance Seats that have now arrived and were confirmed right at 55.0 pounds each. Not much weight savings as far as this department goes.

Great work going on. IMO, they should make the diffuser crazier and better than the other ones on the market.

They aren't finished yet, the diffusor is awesome. I am sure they will add more aggressive carbon accents on the bottom to differentiate the M3.

Damn... Those seats look so much lighter than the stock seats. Im surprised of the nominal weight savings. I expected much more.

What's the price of those performance seats anyways?

1. ND54 posted that he is rebuilding his engine with RDSports in Lake Forrest, CA and with Sam at Auto Talent (where the actual work is being done) to produce at least 520bhp with a stroker kit. Thus keeping it NA and even reducing weight as this engine is lighter than stock.

2. Many, many people look into the threat and eventually 4 others join the RDSports pack including myself (Serven7, BMW-M-Mexico, JDM0977 and PencilGeek on this thread).

3. Stroker kit should produce at least 534bhp etc..., etc... cost is undisclosed and should call RDSports for more details. There is a 50,000 mile 2 year warranty! All internal parts are European and sourced from OE BMW suppliers. Pistons are forged Mahle, can't disclose anything else since its delicate info!!! We are all very, very pleased though.

4. Kit includes a revised front apron to let more air in, pistons, rods, bearings, crank, headers, downpipes and exhaut. Also includes much more aggressive rear apron with huge CF fins.

5. ND54 has been documeting the progress as has RDSports on some of the posts.

6. I decided to change the interior as well to include BMW performance seats that appear to weigh only 10lbs less (each). That is why there is some discussion on seats.

7. First car (ND54) should be ready by SEMA!!!!! The rest soon there after.

8. Hope this helps!! haha!!
