You should get authentic custom made BE-ARP bolts. They should have a unique stamp on the head. IIRC, they will be stamped "BE Sx5."

I measured:
ARP2000 UHL 45mm, grip 6.2mm and thread length 18mm
OEM UHL 44mm, grip 4.4mm, thread 17mm
Thanks again for that , I've finally added your measurements to my little table.
One question, was that OEM bolt used or new?

They've added more to the stamp since this batch? (They just have BE as well as ARP 2000 stamped).

Just received my order from Bimmerworld for bolts and bearings.

7/16 12 point seems to fit perfectly. I don't have an 11 mm 12 point to try.

The bearing labeled STD is the lower bearing.

It's definitely a metric head for the bolt. It should be an 11mm 12-point. So please get yourself a proper set of metric 12-point sockets. I've seen rod bolts get stripped out by using the wrong socket (SAE vs MM).

Hmm, it's been a long while since I've used any imperial sockets etc, but AFAIR 7/16" and 11mm are virtually the same size (but not so for all imperial sizes).
Just looking at Google, and yea it says 7/16" is 11.1mm, I bet that's about the size of an 11mm socket is anyway?

In follow up, the 11 mm socket fit perfectly.
