I had a set of PSS installed on my OEM 19" rims this past weekend at my dealership. 255/35/19 on the front and 275/35/19 on the rear. My biggest concern was that they would rub. After driving for a couple of days I have not noticed any rubbing at all. Not a peep. The first thing I did when I picked the car up was circles in the parking lot on full lock. I've driven on all EDC settings and the results were the same.
The ride is easily as good as the PS2's and they they are quiet too. I have not had a chance to really push them yet but so far they feel grippy and confident. I ordered the tires from Tirerack and had them delivered to my house. This was my first experience with Tirerack and it wont be my last. I ordered the tires Tuesday night with ground shipping and had them Thursday afternoon. If you are like me and are not sure if the PSS is right for the stock 19's in the bigger sizes, I would advise you to go for it. At $300 less than a set of PS2 and by all accounts a far better tire, you cant go wrong. |

Skippy:
Did you notice that with the bigger tires that your speedometer is now more accurate as well?

After a couple of months of running 265/35/19 PSSs on the rear (with 245/35/19 PS2s on the front) I have to say that the rears are a significant step up in traction/grip over the rear PS2s they replaced. The car overall is better balanced with the extra rear grip giving a noticeable reduction in interference from the cars DSC when on, and harder to provoke power oversteer when off (or in MDM mode).

I put 5k on 275/35/18's in 8 days for one lap. I have to report they are a phenomenal tire for street and occasional track.
I've also put about 3k on 275/296 19's (my street set) mainly on the street and some track and they have done insanely well. There is so much grip it's ridiculous for the street. On the track I'm turning 4 seconds faster at road atlanta with 295's in the rear on 19's with low profile 30's. |

Then you can take the spacers off or go with 5mm thinner spacers.

I'm running 5mm spacers on the back of ZCP 19x10 rims with 275/35 with no rubbing issues. You can run 10mm spacers with no issues on OEM 19x9.5 220's.

Agreed. With 220's 15F/12R should work fine. With 359's it's too wide. Ask me how I know.

Which 5mm spacer are you running? Does it sit flush on your wheel hub?

I'm using MS (Macht Scheel) with extended lugs. It's a flat spacer, too thin to be hub centric. The thinnest hub centric spacer available is 10mm. I don't have any balancing issues.
