Hello,
So ive had a problem with my EGR flagging up on OBD and when in low revs as soon as i press the accelerator the car has a poping sound coming from the around the catalytic. With the pop i notice the engine isnt smooth with a power fluctuating down until i reach 1.5k rpm, sometimes this also triggers around higher rpm. I want to delete it however i cant find any video online regarding n46 engines, all ive seen is m47 and i went to check my engine its not the same layout. Im currently studying mechanics and stuff so i can delete it my self but there are no videos on yt regarding the n46 engine and its driving me crazy. 1) I need a n46 delete kit 2) location preferably a video to help me with location of EGR and any small details. Err, you're in the wrong forum section , this is for M3s.
Btw, petrol engines are better off with EGRs, their isn't the significant inlet contamination you get with diesels and EGR helps petrol's with MPG.
