Is it posiible to remove the cats and resonators??
I'm planning on doing this but I need an expert opinion from you guys, I think there are two cats and two resonators, one cat has an oxygen sensor, so i was wondering if I could remove the other cat and the resonators without having any warning lights????? In my country there's no pollution law or anything, and I know that this must at least give a couple of hp's, or can I delete the whole cats and resonators?? the only thing holding me back is the check engine,
thanks guys, i'm really looking forward to do this!!!!!!! |

Uffff, this sounds a bit difficult since your dash lights will certainly go wild!!! But a good machanic can trick the system if it is a must for you!!!

EVO Sport has high-flow cats for the M5, so I imagine they or someone else would have some for the M3. I don't think you could eliminate the cats completely, though. You can, however, easily take out the resonators. There aren't any electronics in them.
