I started to read into it after seeing this for sale. There's coding involved - notably to change the manufacturer date of your vehicle to post '09. Otherwise the car won't recognize the unit.
Posts I read: https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=695241 https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=896119 OP's price is very attractive, too from what I've seen. |

Mike Benvo BPMSport can assist you with the setup, but as far as hardware goes, this is a killer deal.

Also note that what is pictured from the trunk is a TCU, not a combox - Bluetooth phone w/o streaming. |

Bump. I've received PM's with interest, but the package is still available.
Thanks for your help, Mike. I'm not much of a tech guy

I personally did a CCC to CIC retrofit a month ago and did the coding myself. First time ever coding and was able to knock it out no problem following this guide.
https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1649066 OP, would you happen to know the firmware version of your CIC unit? Guide is for CICs with firmware C1A (most recent). Overall great price for what's offered IMO. |

Positive Feedback for AP3X_FTW
Ryan is a very trustworthy seller as well as a great forum member! His communications about the items for sale have been clear, factual, and prompt whenever possible - Ryan also accommodated after hours communications during his personal time. Ryan also worked with me personally on creating a deal that allowed me to finish my retrofit goals which saved me time/effort/money. Ryan prioritized sending me the items in a very well packaged container, the very next business day before he went on travel himself.
While I'm providing feedback before I'm able to truly validate functional quality of the items, I inspected all items purchased and could not find a flaw that would cause concern for not expecting the items to work as described. The professionalism Ryan demonstrated throughout the transaction is better in some ways, than what we unfortunately experience in the normal retail consumer world. Sincerely hoping that more forum members will follow Ryan's example in how he conducts his sales. Thank you Ryan for providing me a very positive buying experience from your personal sales experience/conduct! |
