You can define a speed limit in your iDrive settings. When you hit that speed, the gong will go off.

Its moved faster while shifting manually. Perhaps the traction control kept it from going all out in the MDM, D5 mode.

Nice video. Quick car.

Although, shifts are way too short. I saw consistent shifts at 7800 - 8000 rpm especially when in manual mode. Sometimes as low as 7500 rpm. It must be difficult in M-DCT to execute a perfect shift at 8300 rpm just short of the rev limiter due to lag.

After any more than 5 mins practice, it is easy to shift right just before the rev limiter in the DCT e92. It can be confusing to start with but not after u have tried it a few times and worked out the timing u require to use.

It was the distraction of trying to hold the camera in frame and looking at the road at the same time that resulted in the early shifts. Next time = tripod!
