$99k e46 m3
I saw this and wanted to share.
http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-cult...6-m3-for-sale/ I guess saving the car pays off. I'd like to know the difference between what they paid the owner and the current list price.

A 10-year-old car with 400 miles? They're basically borderline neglected; I bet they've never had any maintenance work done, so enjoy those 10-year-old fluids, tires, gaskets, paint, etc.
Buy a car, drive the hell out of it, and enjoy it. What good does it do to put it in a barn and just stare at it lovingly every day? "He never drives it."

I've dealt with EAG in the past, and I presume they must do most of their sales on-line, as in person, the staff, and facility, leave much to be desired. They do have many fine examples of M cars, but as another poster advised, EAG is tuned into the 'sucker' market and milks it for what it's worth.

man sorry,
i know everyone here loves M3 and its heritage but, anything over 75k wont be a used BMW for me ! It will be brand new something or a whole different car class! Pristine 997TT's are right in that area. |

EAG are pretty smart. They'll make a ton off this sale and then if the new owner ever wants out he will only be able to sell back to EAG and then they'll make a ton a second time.

These guys are the reason for the current "car bubble" - which is expected to pop soon. I get what there doing with the e30 m3, but not the e46. Maybe this will trickle down to E9x and drive our value up.

They can trumpet all they want about the "premium" bullshit. If any of the prices paid is true, they would actually announce it publicly. At least I would if I were running the business to bring in more clients. Just look at Sotheby's auctions. Any time anything is auctioned at "world record" prices, they milk that annoucement for months...which brings in more sellers and buyers, etc.
I bet you those cars sold for well under $100k. I'm not saying they didn't go under original sticker, but I can imagine some collector will pay close to original sticker, but not much more.

poor M cars not getting driven. who in their right mind would pay that? I know EAG has some very nice cars but the thing that kept me from ever buying from them is the price on every car they have.
