Anyone know of any shorter bump stops for the rear of an e92?

I have my e92 booked in for Thursday to have the shaved top mounts, e36 bumps and Eibach pro kit fitted.

I have just noticed Dinan are selling a shorter bump stop for the e92 with shorter springs. I am in the UK, so can't get them from Dinan quick enough.

Does anyone know which model they come from?

I thought Dinan doesn't include bump stops for the rear, just the shock mounts. Maybe I've misinterpreted your question...

That's what I thought, but checking on their site they now include shorter rear bump stops.

Take a look at the video here where he explains what's in the kit.

Edit. Having watched it again, he is referring to a shorter rear shock mount as you said. Any idea what model it's from or is it custom made.

The Stage 1 kits, as of May 2010, include the rear shock mount. They didn't before that. Dinan also sells the rear shock mounts separately as well.

Again, there is no need because it only adds 7mm of travel at the shock. The M3 understeers at the limit from the factory, so this will only help with the balance by adding stiffness sooner to the rear axle.

No need for the nonexistent bump stop, or no need for the new shock mount?

Is there a detriment to installing them, or just simply no benefit?

There is probably little benefit.
