Thinking about going back to OEM angel eyes look. More classic. Imo

I think OEM amber lights on E9x/E6x are some of the most beautiful designs of all time. Golden lights are quite "angelic" in their presentation....

They are certainly a distinguishing feature and very elegant to look at.

The halo corona rings of the facelifted E39 aren't too shabby either

Surely, the E9x/E6x have the E39 and Joji Nagashima to thank for this detail.

The OEM coronas look really good in your pic.

However, the lighting and angle are obviously a big part of that. During daytime, or looking at them off center, the OEM look goes downhill dramatically (and aftermarket bulbs don't fix that).

I made the switch a month ago, running them at 5300K setting and I like it a little better than OEM. I think both looks are great but whiter LEDs are certainly more up to date.

not a huge fan of the dim Amber OEM look, but lately I'm not big fan of the excessive bluish look either. here's what I run currently
