I don't think they are a pain, but I just won't appreciate/understand them the way an engineer would.

So has anyone tried the Dinan front bar and can comment on the changes in balance?

Anyone try the front/rear E93 bars? Final price?

Any company planning to make sways yet?

I have he E93 for a while now and they work good. Not very noticeable but you have feel it in tight corners on when you on a track. I got them from HP Autowerks Harold is great.

Eugene-TAIWAN, do you have just the E93 front or do you have both front and rear? From my understanding it takes quite a bit of work to replace the rear...

Is it beneficial to replace the front only guys?

so you removed your rear subframe? Did you have a body shop align your subframe for the reinstall?

I have those in my RS46 Club Sport, I believe however that these were designed to work with the RDSport spring set. The Club Sport package includes an upgraded suspension that includes the sway bars, springs, really light weight 19" wheels, BBK and 305 wide rear Pirelli Corsa tires, I heard the handling is simply out of this world, but I have not driven my car on track yet. Of course, this is in addition to engine, headers/downpipes (titanium)/exhaust, tranny, fly wheel, aero kit, boot lid bar, b-piller bar, race interior with seats etc.., etc...

Im sure they will work even better with the Chassis kit, which includes shocks and springs.

How is it on the road? These pieces need to work on track and street. Do you have any noise with them because of the bushings? Do you have RD springs alone, or with the RD/Bilstein shocks?

Do you know how you have the sways set up at the moment?

Thanks.

Ahh! All very good questions and am afraid I don´t know the answer to many of these as things did get rather technical. Of course, I can attest to the fact that a good bit of testing and engineering went behind the design and implementation and several components were changed and or modified to produce the best combination. I don´t feel there is added noise at least I cannot perceive any. The vehicle is harder than it was stock of course but nothing you can´t live with and perhaps about the same as it was with Breyton lowering springs and 20" wheels. This is however not intended to be a daily driver although it would be no problem if I so desire. My set up employs only lowering springs with stock shocks as per RD´s recommendation. EDC still functions. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=288953

The RD sways are substantially stiffer then the OEM one, so Im just a little nervous it might be too much.

Hmmm, this could very well be the case, I suggest you drive one and then determine if this set up is good for you.

But where could we find an M3 that has one to test out? Also what's the pricing on these?

MSRP is $720, but they will do better.
Simon@RennSpec can give you a good deal.

Well, RDSport usually has some vehicles around, I know a number of people have driven mine, of course always with my permission, only problem is mine left RDSport a couple of days ago. Unfortunately I have no recollection of how much these parts cost individually since I got a package deal with sooo many goodies.

Old thread but o well...

With my e93 335i, I had the front and rear installed at my local BMW dealership (don't ask how)

and they did a full alignment

it was a lot work....

Don't know if it was worth it as having just the front seemed to be enough

Wonder how it is on the M
