G-Power M3 Clubsport Carbon Kevlar Seats
As the title says I'm looking for info on the seats offered by G-Power for their club sport M3. Trying to determine if they're made in house or if they're rebranded recaros or something.
http://www.g-power.de/1026.html?&L=1 Maybe the guys at AutoTalent could chime in on this one as I've seen they are doing group buys for the G-Power super chargers. Thanks, JC |

I'm waiting for G-Power to get back to me with more info, and I was trying to see if anyone here had any info in the mean time. I'll post whatever I get from G-Power, they're supposed to be sending me full info for the Clubsport package.

Most definitely, but after some real research into this area, I donīt think anyone reputable such as Brembo will come up with these anytime soon. If they do, I am up for them as well, but not until then.

Brembo already has CC brake systems. It would be a matter of reconfiguring the existing components for the M3 application. There is no way G-power is making its own CC brake systems from scratch--maybe the calipers but not the rotors. They, if they even exist, must be outsourced to one of the few reputable manufacturers.

Caliper looks like OEM 6-piston Brembos for Porsche, exhaust looks like Akrapovic, seats look to be Recaro.

That's what I've begun thinking. I think I'm already going to get the Akrapovic exhaust, but I'd like to find a carbon backed pole position that I can get shipped to Texas. So far the G-Power rep hasn't gotten back to me on my inquiry.

I would, hell, few companies are selling a lot and GPower is making its move into the USA perhaps because of low sales volume in Europe. Iīd honestly expect price not to exceed 15 grand, and for around 600bhp that is not too shabby at all in my book.

It is, but with some modifications since I vehemently dislike that great big BMW Performance logo on there. I choose these seats because of the fit, beautiful finish and the fact that they do retain the very important side impact air bags (very important to me) and no other high performance seat does that.

You would think they would spell the work "Brakes" properly on their own website. Doesn't look good.

Bahaha!! Quite so. If you read through there web site you will see a dismal display of English writing skills. They could have at least paid a few hundred to someone that knows English, I do so agree that this lack of attention to detail does not reflect well on any company.

I spoke to my rep over at Gpower. Would you guys want me to set up a group buy for the brake system? Seats?

Iīd like to learn more about the brake system before I make such a commitment. Such as who actually makes it and where it has been tested and such...

I'd just like some info on the seats, the cc brakes are a bit overkill for my car. I submitted an inquiry with them and have yet to hear back. I want to see if the seat is a recaro or what? If they have a price list for everything in their clubsport kit that would be great, but I understand that its a fairly new package. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Recaro Sportster CS. BMW Performance seats are the same thing, with side airbags (and heavy).
