Thanks Devin! Was last weighed at EAS at 2,860 with “some” fuel but do t really know how much because we hadn’t added the parameters into the Aim dash yet. Do they weigh cars at any time attack events?

I believe you can set the AIM to tell you when TC is on / off. It’s one of the signals picked up. It’s how I have it on mine for same reason. |

One other question - did you remove all of your stalks on the steering column in any particular way ?

Do you have details on the TC integration? EAS, with the help of Aim support, has been unable to figure it out.

The stalks are part of the clock spring module. I assume any wheel that has its own can just replace that.

This is how i am aware of getting the 'DSC' info onto the AIM. it is not 100% accurate and takes a little tinkering, but it's how i got it to work. i dont have my car in the garage right now so cant go out and show for certain, but this should help get you in the ballpark.
Make sure in the ECU Stream that both DSC Status and DSC Lamp are enabled. i forget 100% if it is 'lamp' or 'status' that indicates when DSC is turned all the way off vs when the car is actively intervening. In Icons Manager, attach the ICON you want to use to indicate when DSC is or isn't active. you'll see on the right side you need to set the conditions for what drives this - i get confused on this part, but by trial and error you'll figure out what parameters are correct. On your Display, choose a dash setup that allows for Icons. you have an MXG i think, so not entirely sure how this looks on your end, but this is my MXS. under ECU --> CHANNELS towards the bottom you will see the DSC from the ECU stream - drag that to an open ICON area. it will open another dialog box from where you made the Icon, and you just select the one you made and click OK. apologies that this isnt more prescriptive and exact, but it will get you close. when i have my car in front of me i can do a better video if this still doesnt work. |

That’s the oem clock spring, just removed the signal indicators, and stalks. Likely to retain the steering angle sensor vs programming standalone.

Quick update since it has been a while.
This year I decided to run the full Bimmer Challenge season in B1 at the encouragement of dogbone . Yesterday was the final event and I ended up finishing first overall in class and taking the championship. There were 12 events total and I ran in 9. A lot of travel, a lot of windshield time, a lot of laps. It was a great season and honestly a little surreal to look back on how much ground was covered just to make every round. Most weekends I was pretty much on my own. No crew, no caravan, no paddock hangouts. Just load up, drive, unload, race, load up, drive home. It was fun but also oddly quiet at times, especially after sessions when many others had friends around. Still, there was something satisfying about keeping it simple and focused. The car was absolutely solid all year. No drama, no mechanical DNFs, just consistent pace and execution. That consistency is really what won it. I was not always the fastest car on raw pace, but I was always there, finished every race, and avoided mistakes. Huge thanks to dogbone who encouraged, offered advice, and just enjoyed the process with me. Onward.

This is simply lovely.
QQ: 1. Any idea how much lbs you saved by going to this exhaust? 2. I see a strut inside your front windshield to your carbon dash. Is that mount support braced under the carbon dash or you just sending it? Rubin Last edited by former 240 s14; 12-22-2025 at 09:32 AM.. |
