also found out the hood struts are busted. need to get replacement for them

Damn, just when i bought the Mporium

You won't regret the Mporium. Granted it's close to 3x the weight but it's a much more substantial under tray. And there's no rerouting, it simply bolts on. Only downside for is the flattening of the bottom of the bumper.

What options you do?
Did the stiffness handling feel noticeable if you did that option?

I got
91 octane tune for CA fuel
stiffened steering
removed speed limiter (rev limitor stays the same)

the steering stiffen can really be felt especially at higher speed. It is generally good improvement.

Yup, if you have PDC, it works exactly as before. Switches automatically to reverse view and then switches back to CarPlay once you're back in a forward gear.

Ripped my entire IDrive and CarPlay box apart to put it back to stock only to verify the IDrive controller really did fry during the battery change.

Ripped it down to the bare PCB to see if there was any obvious damage but I'm out of alternatives so had to order a new controller.

Now a 5 minute swap is going to take me 2 hours to reassemble the whole setup 😭 and I need to pray the new controller will work without programming or figure out how to update the software.

given in CA. Not really into messing with CATs for the pop... just not worth of the hassle. More like looking in to getting a Corsa and call it done

footwell module and blower motor went bad. both replaced.

car had crazy electrical gremlins when the footwell module died. figures the 10 year extended warranty on that part expired 4 months ago

Same happened to me 2 moths past warranty extension. Luckily my shop was able to save it via some computer black magic.

^ looks good. I bought the bmw mats made by weather tech which are pretty much identical to yours. I use them year round now.
