Used a cutoff tool to remove stripped rear strut, put new struts in and gave her a wash.

I'm curious myself. I have an appointment next Friday to have them mounted, so can't comment at this point. And keeping the 220's for now - I still like them.

I suggest you hit him up via PM. My neighbor was up there for Rod Bearing service and brought them back down to Austin for me. They don't do a lot of advertising or ecom because they are so busy. I assume they'd be happy to ship for you though. Really happy with the product and the owner is a really great guy.

Considering this also. Where did you find the best price?

I got them from www.getbmwparts.com, I get most of my stuff from them. $2370 with free shipping.

Other than the BMW dealership parts department not that many places sell them. EAS lists them for $2850 and not sure if their shipping is free.

What tires are you running?

I'm also running 285/35/19 tires but on Michelin Pilot Sport 4S paired with 359M wheels - 7mm spacers and I rub ( I think on the rear bumper tab).

Replaced the rubber windshield trim with an oem replacement. Easier job than it appeared to be.

I added an AC unit in my garage. That way I am not dying of heat or cold when I am working on her. Not that hard or expensive. It keeps my garage very cool.
