The intake by itself actually makes a very noticeable change in induction sound. CF has a different resonance frequency than plastic.

Yesterday I dropped the rear subframe and driveshaft. I'm gonna have the driveshaft u joint repaired locally, I'm gonna solid mount the subframe and replace the clutch while I'm at it. Has anyone got any experience with IRP flex disc? How much NVH does is add? I'm putting in a twin disc clutch anyway so I'm not too worried about too much NVH as I'm sure I'll have plenty.

I'm sure it does but the ITBs with the CF plenim is so loud I suspect it drowns out everything else.

I painted the rear calipers last night, ran out of paint, then ran out of clear coat. They came out aight I should of spent $60 on more paint really but I'm a cheap bastard and squeeked out "good enough" they'll need a buff.

Went for a drive after fitting Mode paddle shifters and KW height adjustable springs. The Arma speed intake is awesome - the induction noise is heaps louder! Plus the butt dyno says it’s a bit faster as well...

Yeah, quite a bit of engine break. The S65 has 1:12 compression rate so like your 335D.

I coded auto start-stop to "Last" instead of "On". Will save 1000 button pushes in near future. Used my trusty Carly.

Not today, but I came out a 2012 C63 Coupe and picked up my 2012 space gray m3 2 months ago bone stock. Threw on AA Catless X pipe paired to AA Signature Rear section, AA green filter, Alex @ Alpine ECU tune, DCT flash, some coding, and Apex EC7 wheels w/ Mich PS4s
Tried out an RPI GTM rear section, and muffler delete (both paired with catless x)

This weekend, my neighbor (Fellow Multi-M Car owner) and I replaced the valve covers on my E92 with some refurbished powder coated covers from deansbimmer

Job went pretty smooth. Replaced spark plugs, fuel tank vent valve, oil separators and all hardware while we were in there. Total labor time around 6 hours, taking our time.

I really like the new look and no leaks!

I replaced the fuel vent valve and my spark plugs. The job was pretty straight forward with the exception of taking the vent valve off the tube. I will say the plugs were easy and would recommend anyone doing it to just take the plenum off and avoid having to using all of the extensions and wobble wrenches. My car is newer to me (I've had it a year) and it's safe to say that the plugs have not been changed in a while.

One thing I noted was the plugs on the passenger side were a bit oily. I assume at 80k miles the valve covers may need a change. That's all for me.

My '12 E92 M3 it always set to auto-off when started up. It was my understanding that M3s are defaulted to off and reg 3 series defaulted to on?
