Well, outside of the 1.7 at MSR, a majority of the tracks we're driving are pretty hard on braking... Specifically ECR comes to mind. All those 100mph straights to 40-50mph corners are not doing our brake pads any favors lol

Interesting. I guess I'll keep an eye on mine as I run. I have seen really long life on the 08's but again, I tend to do shorter sessions and often am on 100/200TW instead of the really sticky stuff which tends to keep the demands a little lower. A 'day' for me is usually 50-60 laps or 5x 15-20 min sessions. I can see how that would be significantly different from someone else's 6-7x 30-min sessions constituting 1 day.

Depending on how hard you brake PFC11 will outlast PFC08.

PFC11 is also very quiet once bedded in whereas the PFC08 always makes lots of noise.

For what it's worth, I have been on the same set of DS1.11 for two years and they still have some life left- they're the thicker 25mm ones up front. No ducting for my APs and I've probably put 20-30 days on them/roughly 4000 hard miles (traction fully off)

Wow - I stopped looking for the PFC08s years ago! Good to know they're out there. I'm pretty happy with the PFC11s and Cobalt Friction products, but the 08s are less expensive. I run similar sessions as you, but I can't stop overdriving the car!

I found the “sounds like a garbage truck braking” noise of the 08’s to be effective in getting dipsticks who were wandering aimlessly around the paddock out of my way!

Yeah, fully gutted with cage and aero. You can check out the build in my sig. No videos worth posting up, but I'm pretty hard on the brakes.

Inquiry - so who sells the cheapest Stop Tech BBKs?

I am in a spot where my Carmax warranty runs out in exactly a year or XXXX months, so basically a year based on my driving mileage. If I keep it I need a brake job and am going to splurge for a BBK from StopTech, if I don't keep it, this post is pointless.

The way I see it is.

Spent $1000+ on maintenance good stuff or spend $2000+ on some StopTech BBK front and worry about another $2000+ rears later.

Any suggestions on where to buy?

I see so many sites where with a generic search it is like a $1000-1500 kit, but then when you select E9X M3 it becomes a $2000-2500 kit.
