wow that's ballter status. so now can you answer the question;
which is better the 6mt of the dct?
I couldn't handle the 6mt in traffic as a daily driver.

I drove them back-to-back several times this weekend, and the ride just felt different. It might be because my Coupe has Michelin Pilot Sports, and the Sedan has Pirelli PZEROs. But it’s not just that, I notice that my 6MT gets out of first faster, than the DCT, but then I have been driving the DCT in “D” mode. Maybe no two cars are exactly the same.

I can't answer that yet, I have only had the DCT for three (3) days.

Ok, if I had to pick which one I like better this very minute, I would say the 6 Speed Manual, but that could change in a month or two.

Wait till you try S6

I never drive with anything else. I tried a D setting once, just to see what it was like, and I've never gone back since.

Hey, where is that going to take place, and when? My brother invited me (they allow 1 guest) when it was held in freaking MEXICO CITY a couple of years back, but I didn't go. It was part track, and part streets/highway (and pretty high speeds if you were not in front... and played catch-up ). If not too far away, I'd make a few phone calls. Thanks man.

I thought that it was in TEXAS a week or two ago.

It is in California this week at the Speedway.

Yes, you can take 1 guest!

Congrats! That's pretty sweet, I wish I could have convinced my wife we needed to do that instead of her X5.

Congrats on the Twins....I have a prediction.
You are going to really enjoy the DCT more than the 6MT. There will be times you miss the 3rd pedal but the joy of the DCT will overcome.

I drove the Sedan today, in SPORT mode, and WOW, what a difference than using the “D” mode. My favorite feature of the DCT so far, is when the throttle BLIPS, when you go around a corner. Yes, I know that you can do that in a 6MT, but I’m not that good…

The 'blip' is always music to my ears! I have my M-button set to the most agressive settings and when the temp is around 200 I always hit the button and drive her that way. Sometimes I use the shifter...sometimes the paddles...both work great.

DCT in manual mode, power button on and enjoy down shifting!

You'll need to play around a little more with DCT to enjoy it.
