Except you'd need to measure every single set, from the rod bearing condition thread at least!

I would be so very surprised if a set of properly installed BE bearings spun. Look at SYT_Shadow and his main failure. Bearing #1 took a beating and did not spin. Cheers,

SYT Shadow
How many miles had those BE bearings done? (The op in both blown engines thread don't say. Other than 25k with your ownership).

When you look at the engine teardown you see the pistons are beat to crap, yet the rod bearings almost look new. BE bearings FTW |

Thread below is yet another interesting input from Deansbimmer talking about the damage of surface/1st layer of the LCI shell. I don't believe material wear/thickness variations is measured by anyone though. Deansbimmer RB wear: https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1486113 |

Back to the mileage, yea I know you did 25k on them, but I thought you said they were changed before you got the car? How many miles had they done then? I'm after the total mileage on the BE RBs .

A burble tune is something some tuners offer that will allow your exhaust to make some pretty obnoxious pops and bangs.
It really only works with a catless exhaust system, as the tune would just destroy cats if you have them installed. If it's your thing they are quite sorted out these days. They can shoot flames. I had it for a while but it drew far too much attention and I've heard it causes excess wear in your engine. I prefer the natural BRAHHPS of the engine

hopefully you are lucky enough not to have every Instagram having fuckboy have their cars "shoot flames" where you live.
they essentially tune it incorrectly to run rich on decal which causes super annoying "burbles" and farts. Sounds like shit and is obnoxious. The worst part? the OEMs are implementing it to sound cool.

I ordered 3 gallons of coolant when I only needed one. Anyone considering a burble tune is welcome to come pick up a coolant cocktail, free of charge.
