At least now we know who the security is around here for "off topic comments" since you've appointed yourself the authority. It's not even your thread. Now let's get back to the riveting discussion about driving to the gas station and "drove my m3 to work" so Mr.Dr.Dre can quench his hunger on deep technical M3 analysis before he hurls more insults.

I. Hate. The. Damn. Thing. Got a tow hook mount, it works... I have the paint-matched BMW bracket, but I do not want to drill holes in my bumper. Not sure why we cannot all just agree that front plates are useless and be done with them!!! As far as what I did lately with my M3: I went for a great cruise on the weekend. Up the peninsula in beautiful Victoria with a couple other car people and stopped for lunch at the Red Barn. My E92, an E93 and an S3. Love the sound of the M3 V8. Damn tuned S3 is quick!! Happy motoring.

Sadly my m3 came with the front bumper drilled for plate, otherwise I'll be driving without one. If and when I repaint the front bumper I'll definitely get rid the front plate. Have a chance to drive the pacific rim highway yet and make your way to Tofino? That is also a beautiful drive, plus Tacofino is a must stop while you're there! |

Lost a wheel balance, can't go 100km/h anymore. Went to go get it balanced but it wouldn't balance after 6 wheel weights. Also discovered the right rear tire has 6 nails in it )))).
Going to order new rear tires soon. Been working 12 hours shifts so I don't really have time to do anything with the car. Did claybar the car though. I have a lot of hood chips. Need to get that sorted and then during fall I'll order the vinyl for the colour I want to wrap my car.

Here they are at 53k miles. I think they look OK(?), except maybe the copper showing towards the edges on some of them. The bearings are not in particular order. Also, the car feels so much better with the new motor mounts. Last edited by Kamen; 05-30-2019 at 05:07 PM.. |

Hydrodynamic bearings should not wear out!!! When designed properly, they should never ever wear out the babbitt layer. Cheers,
