Was looking into getting this kit from precision race works. Glad to know its a pretty simple install. Do you have any more pics? I have never seen anyone keep the chrome. I'd love to see how it looks.

Looks great btw!

I had the same issue a while back but really bad. Could only run the gas pump for 2 sec. new vapor canister and it’s 100%. It’s located behind the rear drivers wheel. There’s a panel underneath just behind the wheel well. A few screws from the panel plus a couple from the wheel well, move a heat shield a lil so it’s out of the way. Then a few bolts and a few plugs and it’s out. Swap the pump over to the new can and never top off your gas ever again and you’re good to go. No need to remove the rear wheel

So if I understand it correctly, it's almost like an overflow reservoir, or is this something that gets ruined when you try to 'top off' your tank after the auto stop shuts it off?

Thanks,
No I haven't put the car back together yet to take level them and take proper pics. It's an E93 so I have Chrome all around the car. Waiting on a Time-sert kit, to fix my oil pan drain threads, some idiot cross threaded one of them.
Once I get it all back together I will take proper pics and post them.
This Precision Kit was the best choice for me, level and screw in no gluing. The demon eyes are screwed in also, didn't feel like the 2 sided tape would be a long term solution. The Bavgrouppe demon eyes have a hole for a screw already. I don't want to open these headlights up again. I will update you once done.

The vapor canister stores fuel vapor which can be used same as fuel-air into the engine. The fuel breather is used to purge the vapor from the canister into the engine. Topping off will lead to gas overflowing into the charcoal that’s in the can then at some point while pumping the gas the pressure has no where to go with a flooded canister so the gas pump keeps popping when the pressure backs up

Just dropped the car off for rod bearings replacement. The shop works on BMW's only. They said, that they've only had one M3 with failed rod bearings and it's just had it's bearings replaced 20k miles prior to the failure. The also thought, that the issue is overblown on the internet. He mentioned about a supercharged M3, tracked regularly, with no wear on the bearings. After second guessing myself, decided to do it anyways, even though I couldn't find a shop, that gives you warranty, if BE bearings are used.

So, yeah, hopefully that wasn't a dumb decision on my part.

Finally took it in for the airbag and blower recall. Put a note inside the obd port asking not to access it without calling, and then duct taped over the cover with a note on it as well. Paranoid overkill? Probably.

Let us all know how they look. Some look OK when pulled. Seems that most look bad. Curious to see!

You're calling the guy a douche and you know nothing about him. You have no idea the condition of their relationship. She might be a bitch. Let's keep this a car forum.

😂a little close to home hey? I'm pretty sure women typically don't go around committing felony vandalism for no reason and my post was about a vandalized car. I'm allowed to make assumptions about whoever I like and post whatever I like. If you've got a problem with that then block me or report me but don't lecture and condescend to me on a public forum in an imperious manner....

Some new rubber all around. pilot super sports 235 19 up front and 265 19 on the rear. Got 20k miles on rear pilots (13000 by prior owner and 7000 by me). So decided to stick with the super sports. Also washed and waxed.[IMG][/IMG]

You're just a douche. You can post whatever you like, however, the thread is "What have you done to your M3 today?". How is posting a random picture of a vandalized M3 what you did to your M3?

Stick to the premise of the thread. It's not "What douche bag thing did you do today?"

Hit 90,000 yesterday. Also installed my USmillworks front bracket after moving over to Jersey. Hate the front license plate look though 😑, although I like the random plate they generated haha. Left foot ready baby 😬 (6mt) lol
