Nice work Gintani! Its seriously impressive and this is only the beginning. I love how its tuned on the stock DME. The built motor and more boost is going to be nuts!!

Personally I am keeping my car NA, however it's nice to the more options for the E92 platform.congrats gintani. I've been following the previous thread and at one point thought it wasn't going to happen.

The power is fine and all, and who doesn't love the noises and pops of twin turbos?
I'm more interested in seeing how the turbos effect oil temps, etc. What are the expected increases on thermal loads say, at a road course? |

Lots of potential here.
Reminds me of the days when HorsepowerFreaks used to boost the crap out of S54's and eventually came to be known for 1000hp M3's. Even if most of us aren't going to buy these kits, its nice to have the choice & to know that the platform is capable of it.

Are those CCW C2k? Looks beast on 18s. Also, that motor setup is to die for. Can't wait till the boost is cranked up. Let's hit 1000 boys!

They both have DCT trannies which play a HUGE role. The gintani car is running a 6MT I believe. |

Im not comparing theirs to the Gintani car. If you read everything that was written prior to my response, I'm saying peak numbers don't mean much at all. I thought by now, most would understand that.

We are all bmw lovers one way or another. The N54 is an amazing motor no doubt about it and 750whp on a stock motor with a big turbo and 100k hard driven miles is nothing to laugh at nor doubt. Neither is 600whp on the first ever turbo M3 which limits have not even been pushed. People will always speculate and pass comments unfortunately. Bottom line is BMW did an amazing job with both motors and that is that plain and simple. |
