Which jack stands are those? They look sturdy. Something I need to worry about now that I have to use jack stands... I miss my lift and big garage.
They are Esco stands. Built like tanks. Highly recommend them; they're pricier but worth every penny for the assurance.

I just did the same on my car, blue M and start stop buttons. Haven't driven the car yet but they add a nice simple touch.

Yes, I have a set of these same stands and they are solid all right. Thing is my jack cannot lift high enough to get them in place ..... on the hunt for a new one now but it will be worth it!

Addressed an annoying CEL, which corresponded to fault code 5DB6. The fault was in reference to the left rear speed sensor, which is fairly cheap and very easy to fix. The light sort of went away as soon as I cleared it. The Foxwell NT510 I was using noted that I also needed to re-calibrate the steering angle, which the NT510 is capable to doing. Made the change and the dash was once again dark and all the faults remained off. That was an annoying code as it resulted not only in the ABS/DSC/brake CELs to appear, but cruise control didn't work, EDC didn't works, and the directionals would no longer automatically shut off when I move the steering wheel back straight. Everything was cleared up once I switched the speed sensor and recalibrated the steering.

They make a version for lower cars (model 10499). I have a pair of the regular (model 10498) and the lower model. There is prob a 1-1.5 inch difference in the minimum height.

I have a 3-ton jack and have no issues raising the M high enough. I use low profile ramps for the front, in order to fit my jack underneath the front jackpad however.

Just curious, looks like you have stoptechs. As you know each caliper has two bleed screws, one on outside and one on inside. When you bleed are you supposed to bleed the outside one first, then inside ?

Just under 1/4 tank (12.5 liters) or so. I set it for 8 liters. I don't like the alert going off at 1/4 tank.

Outward, then inward to the MC.

LOVE this. Works under over passes too and on some limited accesses highways with high walls.

This is for another post and entirely rhetorical but who DOESN'T goose it when it sounds that good?

Road Trip to Canada

Sackets Harbor, NY on Lake Ontario. Last Wednesday!

Spectacular Drive. Went from Philly to Syracuse to Kingston Ontario. Drove the entire lake back to Fort Erie. Then back to Philly on Sunday (1,300 Miles). Had a smile on my face the whole time!!!!

Got my A/C recharged as it wasn't blowing quite as cold as I wanted. The shop pressure tested the system (no leaks), removed 0.5lb of R134A and added back 1.4lb and all is good now.
Kinda surprised that refrigerant can evaporate from a closed system after 6 years when other cars I've owned for far longer never seemed to lose any, but the BMW shop said they've seen this fairly frequently.

Got all the recalls on my car fixed

Headline act was the Takata claymore in the steering wheel that was only recalled a week ago here in Australia (my E46 M3 was recalled years ago). Figured I'd beat the rush (and stay alive).

My AC was on point last night with the top down and temps around 75 and dry. I heard a lot of thunder though whenever I would throttle her. I wondered if a wicked storm was coming.
