Your completely misinformed. It increases injector duty cycle by 25-30 in order to run e85.It can’t pull timing as it doesn’t communicate with the dme.You should read more into what the flex fuel kit’s actually do.idk what tuners file your running but I’m running full e85 on my ess kit with 1000cc and have always have consistent 60-130 times depending on weather conditions.

I'm talking about the fuel it self.

ive gone thru revision after revision (actual dyno tuning)

with 600cc injectors, larger fuel pump, on a 4.4L engine.

i get that the FKits just adjust the pulse cycle and etc.

but to say he doesn't offer it, when he clearly does, he is only asking to get the flexkit to cover your end.

because of the inconsistency in e85 from pump. the flex kit can account for that.

What are you talking about? The only 2 tuners who offer a real e85 file and actually stand behind their tuning for support is Gintani and RK-tunes.

the Flex kit is communicating with the DME to adjust it self.

and what happens in the DME, for e85 specifically additional fuel and IGNITION TIMING. especially running FULL E85, but accounting for the instability of octane rating in pump e85 the FKIT helps the DME to adjust for it.

now granted that's only a small fraction of what is done.

Your not making anything clear rephrasing what you meant every other post.No the flex fuel kit does not communicate with the dme to adjust itself. It has a ethanol sensor which adjusts its flow depending on the Ethanol content. How about you do some actual research on it?You should stay on topic of what my point was. I also know what the dme does on a e85 tune but that wasn’t the point at all. Your defending mike as if the conversation I had with him had you involved 🤣

Coming back to update my post, here. I ended up ordering a replacement fuel injector set from ESS for my VT1 kit early summer that I will be installing next week.

The Bosch part number is 0 280 158 124. Haven't opened the package to see what color they are. It seems they are black.
