I'm going to the LA Porsche Experience Center in 3 weeks to do the GT3 package, pretty excited about it since I've never driven a GT3 and a lot of the reviews seem to say you might wind up in an RS depending on availability.

Not sure what the price difference is there, but in Australia it's pretty substantial.

The RS was amazing, but having thrashed a GT3 on the track it feels like splitting hairs, they're both so good and thoroughly enjoyable.

Most badass SUV on the planet though...IMO. I only owned it for 3 months and had no maintenance or repairs other than an oil change. From what I know, they are extremely well built and don't really have any major problems.

Depends on the 911. Can't compare a regular Carrera or S to a GT3. GT3 as an upgrade? Yes. Carrera as an upgrade? I don't think so.

Got one of each and love them both for different reasons.
I feel like the M3 is the better street car and the 911 better on the track but not by much.
Which one to get depends on one's lifestyle and priorities, which is a difficult puzzle to solve based on all around preferences, budget, family, driving demands.
