My PDC car had 1 mile on it, definitely the way to go if you don't want someone joyriding your car over to McDonalds and back.

LOL...a lot of good that'll do ya I'd imagine all you'd get for your trouble is a bunch of excuses and denials...my GT500 had 17 miles on it when I picked it up...but what was I going to - do pass on it and wait another 6 to 12 months? Funny how eveyone had such and innocent look when I asked who enabled the supercharger!

I think my 2008 E92 328i had 3 miles on it.

Mine had 23.... correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe there's no way for us to find out how many it had when it actually arrived at the dealer.
I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, that's definitely more miles than I'm seeing here. On the other hand, BMW runs these things at full tilt before they leave the factory to make sure everything's working. On top of that, the new M3 I test drove had 550 miles on it and I'd bet anything a lot of those miles were above 5500 RPM -- some of the miles I put on it certainly were, and I doubt whoever buys that car will get much (or any) discount even though half the break-in will have been completed incorrectly. I joyrode in someone else's future baby, so how bothered am I that somebody MIGHT have put some joyride miles and perhaps even redline miles on mine? Not too much. What goes around comes around.

Does anyone know why are the cars being driven so far? I bought my M3 with a few miles on it but I just picked up an X5 for my wife and it had 1 mile. It wasn't even a special order so I didn't expect it to be that low.
