Mike--how does Rif like the relatively new Yoko AD08R? Improvements over the older AD08?
I've been thinking about using the AD08R as a combo daily driver/track tire for a 991 Carrera S. I'm assuming it's grippier and sturdier on the track than the Michelin Super Sport, and better in the rain than the Michelin Sport Cup.

Thanks guys! Rif beat his time by a tenth of a second on the same tires he used last time. So another new record was set.
He also did a 1:58 with me in the car datalogging when the tires were really shot. paradocs - I will definitely ask him and let you know! Will try to get yesterdays videos up soon |

Update on the latest from the BPM Track car:
Day 0: This is the night before Round One of Global Time Attack at Platteform AG, prepping the car for the next day’s event. Day 1: The next day, while everyone was getting ready, it started to rain hard: Here are the resulting lap times in the pouring rain. You can see that the M3 was faster than many cars in the Unlimited and Limited Class AWD Group. Fastest in the street class by a large amount. Day 2: Next day was in dry weather, and the BPM/Platteform M3 took first place again, winning in both round one and two of the GTA Pro AM series! Here are a couple more shots from the rain: Congrats Rif for a job well done! |
