New E92 M3 Owner pics & questions???
OK guys, I have attached a few pictures of my E92 M3. Initial modifications include Breyton 20" wheels with 295/25/20 R and 245/30/20 F plus Breyton lowering springs and Remus Exhaust, ECU reflash. I have already taken this car onto the F1 Race track so do have lots of experiance on its handling etc... but also have some questions??

I love the wheels! What are the widths and offsets?

Beautiful cars gentleman! I have been thinking of purchasing one this summer however I still have not warmed up to the styling as of yet! I still like the E46 M3 better, it just looks more classy and aggressive to me but hopefully the new M will grow on me. I do like the looks of the sedan better so far. Maybe it's the modded E46 M look that I prefer? My good friend and Pro skateboarder Kerry Getz has a modded IB M, and it is just Sick!! That car used to belong to Juha from the other M3 forums. Kerrys car is insanely pretty!!!

Hi All,
initial minor cosmetic and "tactile/feel" mods 1. steering wheel - didn't like the stock cos too fat and IMHO not much feel. 2. matt black grill. 3. 19" Schmieden Indivi + Yokohama Advan Sport (pic shows glossy black, but changing to gun metal glossy). 18" stock wheels reserved for track days. Going to change pedals to either M or stainless steel, gear shift knob to shorter OEM knob. Enquiring about the Hamann and Ericsson rear diffuser, cos I don't like the fact that the exhaust box is visible, especially since it tarnishes/rusts. Cheers. |

Thats funny that all the people that dont have an M car, change their wheel to actually have the M wheel. And you changed yours to a normal one.

it's just that my country's weather (30 - 35 degrees C year round) makes the Nappa leather a little soft and with my sweaty palms, a little grimy... plus, like i posted above, road feel a little lacking cos of the thick padding. to each his own i guess... cheers. |

ok my turn
sorry guy's is a little late. I've had the car for a little over two weeks, but given the weather here in Switzerland lately have not had much of a chance to take photo's. Anyway finally here they are:
I have moved the photo"s to the following link: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...=1#post2350474 Last edited by aussie; 03-23-2008 at 08:54 AM.. Reason: moved the photo's |

Thanks Epacy, it's actually a bit darker than it looks in these photo's, which is good, as these photo's make it look very light. Having said that I know from previous experience (my wife has had a Z4 in the past with a similar interior colour) that with this coilour I'll need to be more careful than with a black or red. That's a bit of a pain, but I like the looks so I'm willing to pay the price of extra care. Let's see in the long run how it looks in a year from now..... Anyway, this is the only one that I personally have seen with this colour combo, and have got positive responses so far from those that have seen it.
