Fun weekend, working on some vids to share later this week but I did find out my camera mount is too shaky, perhaps the extensions were not a great idea after all. Will work on something better for next time.

Just wondering.... How often do you guys do your oil change? I do mine after 3 track/drift days. Is that enough or overkill?

That's about what I do, but I've done 6-7 track days. I'm pretty much following what the other more experienced track guys do.

I usually change the oil after 4 or 6 track days (4 x ~20 minute sessions per day).

I'm doing every 4 track days now, just to be safe.

RAM mount extensions weren't working out so great? How tightened were they?

Tightened many many times as tight as I could get them by hand. I think the problem was actually the extensions on top of the floating Cruise Cam base plate (the base plate only connects on one side to Cruise Cam bar), that was probably wobbling up and down on every bump (just a guess). I might try attaching my ram extensions directly to the Cruise Cam bar and getting rid of the Cruise Cam base plate OR I might try attaching a double suction cup mount I already have to the side passenger rear window and removing the passenger headrest next time. Should probably do some test runs this time.

I do after every two events. Race teams do it after each, but they have more money than I do.

I'm going to send in OA to Blackstone after my next event/weekend to check on the new bearings and see how the oil is holding up.

That's the passenger seat right? I think roastbeef had mentioned he had problems when it was connected to the passenger seat because there wasn't any weight on it, so the seat "rattles" a bit.

I'm still uploading the vids. Trying to see if it helped mounted to the driver's seat.

My oil temps are hitting 280 regularly, and I kept losing everything after 7k RPM because the car would protect itself. Getting a CSF Radiator installed before Spring Mountain! Hope that solves this.

Save your money. It won't do a thing for you.

Do you think that a radiator could be a solution to your cooking problem? Or is the problem more complicated than a better radiator?

I guess what I'm asking is, does a good enough radiator simply not exist? Or does the cooling system as a whole need upgrading?
