Definitely a valid point, and something to keep in mind if you mod. Either keep it forever, or expect your mods to depreciate at least as fast as the car itself. |

Stock E90's with 22k in my condition go for low 40's. I also have every single stock part in bags in their own box's that came off the car. I am OCD when it comes to my cars. I am sure if I uploaded high rez pics of the entire car I would get some traction. Just not sure what I would buy at this point, not much out there to replace it with... CTS-V, z06, ZR1... dunno I would just part it out for anything less then 50 |

What you paid for really doesn't matter. In my and many opinions...at 58+k there are better options than a E90 M3. The list you have to many are not that desirable. You have the lower ESS kit.....who needs 3 sets of wheels...no less one that cost 10k. (which in my opinion is excess on a M3....think about it?...it's about 1/4 the value of your car)

Or I can part it out and make 20k and sell the car stock... Either way works for me =) I have OEM Comp wheels - If I don't feel like dealing with human's and just want to trade the car in. A set for daily, and a Monoblock forged set for "show" It costs 1,500 to upgrade from the 550-625 kit... Not a big deal if you want the "cool kit" |

617E90M3,
My apologies on my past posts. I deleted them....I didn't mean to be a hardass. It's your car and what you think it's worth is your business. FWIW, I love my M3. I don't I would ever sell it.

Haha its okay, A little challenge never hurt anyone. Car isn't "for sale" but everything has a selling "price" maybe that's why I seemed high. Will probably upgrade to 625 kit this winter/spring and see what happens over the course of the year. Just itching to get into something a little more mod friendly. |

I posted already in this thread, but if you need a reference, two months ago I bought a '13 1 owner loaded E92 with 16,000 miles for $3k more pre tax. It has OEM warranty till summer. That's why I thought it was a fair price.

There's a lot of pricing pressures on the 2010-11s down to mid-$30s. IMO, if you're not stretched on a budget, that's the sweet spot to buy the M3. The high end are low mileage 2013s and they're in the low $40s already.
But this depreciation uniformity ends as the floor on 08s and 09s are set at mid-$20s for high mileage (90k+ miles) and high $20s for well maintained low mileage cars. It just shows that as this car ages, low mileage and maintenance records will dictate over model year. But if you buy a 2013, get ready for some depreciation.

Fair to you, fair to the seller. It takes due diligence, as has been mentioned here, to find a GOOD deal. Cars are listed month after month at 45k-49k. But they are not SELLING at those prices. |

2011.75 with 62k miles for $37k pre tax, or $39k OTD. Black Interior with Carbon Trim. Both seem slightly high given the miles, but in line given what I'm seeing. |
