Need to get under armrest compartment
I had something important fall into the hole under the plastic covering in the armrest compartment. Is getting underneath this compartment a somewhat easy DIY job? Anyone have pictures of them doing it?

Are you talking about between seat and center console? There're no gaps for anything to fall inside the center console tunnel. If the former, just raise the seat all the way up and move it forward all the way as well, and you can get to anything that might have fallen from behind the seat. Good luck.

You could also pull the trim around the shift boot. Remove the shift boot and grab the back of the cut out towards the hand brake. Pull straight up and you may need to apply more pressure than you think.

Well, I was referring to a stock car . If you start removing crap, of course you're going to find holes everywhere . Good luck man.

Don't know if these help. I think removing the rear console, or maybe just the ashtry/storage compartment, would be easiest.
