![]() You can technically put tire sizes on the stock 8.5 and 9.5 wide wheels that are totally ridiculous. (tires that look "cartoonish") If you want larger than the stock tire sizes for your OEM 19's, here are the largest tire sizes that I would recommend: Front 19x8.5 wheel: 255/35/19 Rear 19x9.5 wheel: 275/35/19 Anything larger than this will overshoot the proper tire dimensions by a significant margin. That will not improve your performance or the handling characteristics of your car. It will also add additional tire weight, and possibly cause undesirable rubbing issues due to the factory wheel offset values.

We have some shitty / slipery roads here and I have issues in putting down the power properly. I wouldn't worry too much about understeering because as I said road quality is bad and first thing always to happen is rear end brakes loose. At the track I am quite happy with the stock configuration, so I can switch to that whenever needed. |

(Why 18s? Because I'm wanting to get some 18" rims for winter tire use, and can't stand the idea of mounting those crummy looking 7-spoke "sport edition" wheels in the wheel/tire combo on Tire Rack.) Any ideas? I'm ready to put Wintersports on my 19" ZCP wheels otherwise. |
