Nope impossible, despite perfect prep. the paint would crumble off the minute it was mounted.

Yep...I believe AKRYM has that option as well. A cheaper alternative.

I remember someone on the forums ordering a challenge diffusor in matte black I think... maybe it was the arkym but I'm pretty sure it was challenge. If I find the thread I'll link it.

They don't come matte but you can have your body shop finish it in matte paint or with a matte clear. We did something similar to the carbon bootlid on our 335 by doing a matte clear over the carbon.

Of course you can paint it matte black. Adequate priming will prevent chipping.

Here is mine, Space Grey, Matte Black Diffuser....I had to brighten teh hell out of the pic cuz of the terrible lighting...but I think you get the idea...

Challenge or Vorsteiner, we do sell them matt Black. it is basically a matte black paint job with matte clear coat
