It realy pisses me off that the only way to get a garage door opener is to order a premium package. I wonder how much of there profit is made by upwelling suckers like me, as much as it kills me I don't want to compromise on my dream car.

I ordered a Sept build M3, and the base MSRP is already available (actually unchanged). What's not yet available are the new option prices. I can't imagine the prices being wildly different.

So you agree on an invoice + $x pricing and order it.

If you are that tight on pricing, you can just order the base (for which MSRP is available), and add options when the prices become available.
BMW is not currently accepting orders for the 2011 M3. We are not sure when we will receive allocation.

I am not sure why I was made to leave a deposit. I got my last car from same dealer and I gave no deposit,I even told them that. That said they staryed doing that 2 years ago.IT is a non refundable deposit o well. The car was sold Dead at invoice whatever that will be, To be dertimined.I really did not want to wait till October for my vert :-(. They found a few on the way but 4 k over what I can spend :-(. Please anyone keep us informed when they let orders go through and which set of options they allow us to order.
