Has your car scheduled a maintenance appointment?
I got an unsolicited call from a BMW dealership with an appointment setup to change the brakes. I made sure to call their official number and not the one left on the voice message. The dealer told me the car sent their center a message stating the brakes needed replacing and they had automatically setup an appointment for me.
Kind of cool but also kind of big brother. Has anyone else run into this? |

Yep, mine just "phoned home" too saying it wanted a brake system fluid flush and change, as well as a cabin filter change one month in advance of it's due date. I received a call from the dealer within hours after the car called them offering an appointment and BMW loaner.
Nice feature, especially considering all maintenance is free for 4 years!

I don't mind it if the service is free.
