265/35/19 on a 19x10.5?
I am going crazy about tire sizing.
Is a 265 going to look too stretched on a 19x10.5 inch rim? There isn't really a lot of good options in tires that won't upset the balance of the car and will fit this wide of a rim. You guys with the TE37s and 265/30 + 285/30, how is the ride? |

265/35/19 will look just fine on 10.5, esp if you are running PS2s.
It might look SLIGHTLY stretched, but far from being look bad. 265/30/19 & 285/30/19 have significantly smaller OD then stock, causing... 1. shorter gearing 2. worsen ride quality 3. increase wheel gap 4. affect handling character If you are getting 19in wheel, stock tire size is pretty much only choice for now. (unless you downgrade to less tires) |

If you have a 10.5" wheel to utilize, why not utilize it. I would go with at least a 285. I would go with a 305!

A 265/35 is perfect in every way, EXCEPT I am worried about the asthetics. |

305/30/19 is the same size in diameter as 265/35

I've seen 265 PS2's on my buddy's 10.5" TE-37 and that thing was definitely stretched.. not my type of look at all, especially for an M3. Ask XunXunDCT, or search for his car as he ran 265's in the back for quite a while.

I would not go less than a 285 width on 10.5's
Also keep in mind the overall diameter of the wheel with the new tires, which I think you are, so thats good. FYI, I just went 285/30/19 on my new set of wheels that are 10.5in. wide. IMO that will keep the best diameter without rubbing. This is a PS2 tire BTW. |

I run 295/30 on 10.5s. The smallest I would run would be 285.

265/35R19 are considered properly mounted on anything from 9"-10.5". 9.5" is what they put it on to take the official measurements, and would be considered the "ideal" width for that tire.
To most people, a 265/35 on a 10.5 would look a bit stretched, though not dangerously so.
