I am selling a pair of brand new genuine BMW PERFORMANCE seats. These are covered with Black Alcantara and leather. This a Front Sport Seat Pair (driver and passenger) for BMW E90 E91 E92 3 Series (sedan, touring, and coupe respectively) or E81 E82 E87 1 Series Coupe. These seats are comprised of the temperature resistant and incredibly comfortable alcantara on which you sit and surrounded by leather for its look and durability. Easily the nicest racing seats available for a 1 or 3 Series owner that BMW has ever produced.

These seats are HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE, MANUAL and HEATED.

I bought these seats for my E92 M3, they were in the car for 2 weeks and during that time the car was driven less than 100 miles. I paid $5,500 plus shipping for these seats and had to wait several weeks for delivery. I would like to get $5,000 shipped or best offer. Sorry I have not been able to check this very often. I am selling because I was unable to install them sucessfully. There are issues with the passenger side occupancy sensor and the driver and passenger side active headrestraints on the 2009 and newer models. On 2008 which did not have the driver and passenger side active headrestraints it is much easier to get ride of the faults. I will try to post some pictures tonight, seats are brand new and are sitting under plastic covers. If anyone wants to see the pictures, they can PM me their email address and I will send it to them. so you saying if my car was built in 2007 I can get it to work? with no problems what so ever?????

I said that if your car does not have the active headrestaint system then all you need is a passenger side occupancy sensor and the seats can be made to work without any faults and the passenger dash airbag will be operational. If you don't get the OC3 installed then there will be one fault code, which obviously you don't want. The other solution is to get an EAS OC3 Emulation Module which will also eliminate the fault code but at the same time disable the passenger dash airbag.

I don't think it's supposed to do that. It disables some sort of passenger seat occupancy sensor. If it's working right, the passenger airbag should work AFAIK.

You are incorrect. It emulates the passenger occupancy sensor in "non occupied" mode. Therefore the passenger side front air bag will be disabled. I agree. This is a lame solution and also not enough for 09+ cars.

I'd prefer one that sets it to enabled or one with a switch that allows you to change from occupied to non occupied.

It was actually intended this way in order prevent the airbag fired off at a passenger without the seatbelt properly fastened.

In race applications (which what the module was intended for), most will be using race harnesses.

I understand but you have been touting this as a solution for folks that want to use the BMW Perf seats for street use. Seems like a module for this should not cancel out the pass airbag.
