evolve carbon intake E9X M3
We finally completed out testing and development on this intake and fitted the first production model this weekend.
Dyno Graph on stock M3 manual (wheel horse power) + 11 BHP + 7 ft/lbs Torque Dyno Graph on stock M3 manual (flywheel power) Video - sounds much better in the flesh but you get the idea. First gear pull off [u2b]<object width="445" height="364"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/_SBh0xjVQFI&hl=en&fs=1&border=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/_SBh0xjVQFI&hl=en&fs=1&border=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="445" height="364"></embed></object>[/u2b] 3rd gear under load [u2b]<object width="445" height="364"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/1sHBPvQlkxE&hl=en&fs=1&border=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/1sHBPvQlkxE&hl=en&fs=1&border=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="445" height="364"></embed></object>[/u2b] I will make a post in the sponsors section with regards to pricing and availability and set up a group buy if there is any interest. Our first batch have all gone to existing evolve customers here in the UK. |

nice, but i would assume the gains decrease significantly if the car already has a highflow exhaust?

Thanks for going the extra mile to provide real data rather than simply throwing out a product and expecting the forums to beta-test for you.

Looking forward to more info on the product. Im guessing you don't want to give us more details at this point?
Nice work. I was thinking of actually getting the Dinan intake, but I will wait and see how this project turns out.

That looks amazing! My only concerns is, when looking at the graph, it looks like you lose power and torque slightly between 3K and 6K. That whould ba ashame, as that is a very important rev range for daily driving.

Oops. My apologies. I think I got the colors mixed up. Looks like a smooth increase across the rev range.
