BMW Performance pedals -- installation
Hey guys,
Does anyone know if the BMW Performance pedals pictured below (gas and brake only) are actual pedal replacements, or do they simply bolt on top of your existing ones? If it's the former, does anyone have any experience with the installation process? Is it relatively straightforward? Thanks.

For the brake pedal, you have to remove the rubber cover and drill through the metal pedal to install the aluminum pedal cover.
For the gas pedal, you do not need to remove the rubber cover. The aluminum pedal cover goes over it and you just drill through the rubber cover.

Drilling through the metal is a bitch. Make sure your bit is sharp and you have a steady hand. The pedals come with a paper overlay that you use to line up the holes.
