The imperfections are inevitable with FRP. That's why bigger companies and OEM now uses PUR or PP instead.

I think they are made out of PP, which is commonly used as a material for hard shell suit cases. The side skirts are definitely made of PP.

i agree ... but it is coming along nicely and I can't wait to get it on the car
