For those club members interested in a SSK, see my initial review of the UUC kit here. So far, it's a huge improvement, and I'm lovin' it. It's like being a platinum 6MT club member. The AA setup also has been getting good reviews.

Thanks for the review.

Dear member TLud,

I am delighted to learn you have upgraded to platinum membership. I did not even know we had it. That means the membership waiver we have been applying to regular members (since the club is new) does not apply to your case. Please send me your $100 annual platinum club membership fee, which I just put in effect. You will be pleased to know that is a discounted rate. It surely is well worth the investment. We serve to please the 6MT community at Club 6MT.

Regards,

Signed
President.

Youre the club President? I thought South is.

You wanna promote me as the head of treasury department?

If so, Platnium members please contact me for payment procedures.

Thank you.

I'm so confused now. I actually received two welcome packets to the platinum membership level. First, I got a standard looking packet from lucid with some glossy brochures promising faster shift times, a membership application, payment slip for $100, and a metered return envelop. Then, I received a handwritten packet from endofanera offering the same platinum membership for three low, low payments of only $19.95.

What do I do? The first packet seemed pretty legitimate, but times are tough these days, and I wouldn't mind taking the cheaper route.

Of course I am the President!

I am the honorary president actually. I was nominated by South and Epacy. In other words, I represent The People, who really want me to drive an F430.

We did have a treasurer, but he quit. Really. Long story. I don't know what the nomination procedures are though. However, I do know that new officers need to shell out $1000 before they can be sworn into office.

The first post on the thread by South clearly idenfies the current officers. I respecfully await your $100 payment.

Well, since you want to have the treasurer office additionally, you're - strictly speaking - a new officer either. I'm glad you're so noble and offer paying the initiation fee.

Best regards, south

No, you are the acting treasurer. Why do you think I keep on saying I need to bribe you!?

Just realized that not all group members are listed in this thread. So I started adding them:

Welcome to 1ne, 3M, Argonboy, Brainspotter, Elcarajo and F000007!

Depends on what I'm planning to do next. If I'm just coming to a stop I leave it in whatever gear I was in until almost stopped. Unless I want to play around and listen to the engine then I rev-match through the gears on the way to a stop.

Alright guys. Just pulled the trigger and joining team 6MT. Some of you may know me as "blkcollarworker" worker over on M3forum.com. I was pretty active in the community over there during my E46 days. Excited to start a new chapter over here. Going the light-weight route.)
