White spots hard to remove

Any ideas what these white spots would be from on my dash? These are not areas where sunscreen would rub off.

I have the Sensafin vinyl seats not leather. I have been using Dr Beasley’s to clean and condition the soft and hard vinyl areas. At first when I detail it looks good but within a day or 2 the white spots come back.

I already asked Dr Beasley’s about it and they said it would not be from the product.

I would like to hear any recommendations for how to remove the spots and favorite conditioners for this type of interior.

They go away but come back?

Usually a fist thought is that something is on there, and needs to be removed. But if they seem to disappear temporarily then I'd ask if it's actually the surface itself that is changed or damaged. Maybe you are temporarily getting it wet, making it seem to disappear, but then after a few days it dries and shows itself again?

I'd consider an "extra soft" toothbrush - thinking it's rigid enough to get into those grooves but not enough to scratch things further. And a variety of off-the-shelf cleaners (stay away from direct acetone or anything like brake cleaner). If it won't come off you might have to live with it. There's a risk you'll get rid of it eventually but have a bigger problem.

Yep they go away and come back. I do think it us not apparent when when but as the surface dries out it reappears. I will try a soft toothbrush with gentle scrubbing to see if that helps but stick with a quality and gentle vinyl cleaner.
