AutoSolutions SSK / general SSK question

Previous owner did an AS SSK in my e92 m3. While I mostly like it, it seems sloppy. Certain gears are clicky going in, but others are not. Furthermore when in gear, the shifter itself has significant left to right slop.

While I know this is not an autosolutions ssk issue, looking for help identify the component that would be causing this.

Carrier bushing perhaps? Anyone else had this happen?

Check front and rear carrier bushings. Unlikely you’ll get a good diagnosis unless you pull out the shifter mechanism and inspect it. You can check out my posts, I had my front 50a prototype carrier bushings from Autosolutions melt away which gave me lots of vibrations and side to side play. I had the kit refreshed and put in a turner 70a rear poly bushing and good as new.

Thanks for the responses. I emailed Ronald to see if he had any knowledge of the parts that would cause this.
