I guess the WRX got me on the awd platform, although this car feels nothing like the Subaru drivetrain. I would have gotten an Audi after the Golf but the Volkswagen experience was so horrid I would never consider supporting them again. Six weeks into owning the golf the dealer charged me $90 to fix a loose evap hose, claiming I was in a rear end colision. I was not and fought it, corporate stood behind the dealership.
