Anyone know how to get this stain out of sensatec?

I have a 2023 X5 with ivory white extended merino leather and was trying to wipe some stains off. I took a damp microfiber cloth and wiped down the merino seats and it worked great, but when I wiped down this area just under the volume control my orange microfiber cloth left a yellow stain. I've read that since the car has extended merino leather this area is made of sensatec, not merino leather. Any ideas on how to get it out?

The stained area is right under the volume dial extending to just about the middle of the "1" button. I also attached a picture of the offending cloth.Name: 2bb57c0739a6b7c79d9d.png

Are you talking about what appears to be discoloring around the volume knob?

Try a few drops of Dawn dish soap + warm water on a microfiber, preferably a white one that isn't dyed. Use light circular motions, then use a damp microfiber to remove all residue.

If the stain is still there, use a vinyl-safe all-purpose cleaner like Meguiar's APC on a microfiber.

Follow that isopropyl alcohol on a microfiber, use light passes.

If that doesn't work, you CAN try a Magic Eraser, but that is basically fine sandpaper, so be careful. Dampen it a little and do a couple very light passes.

Sorry - I don't see the stain, just a pic of your buttons & a microfiber towel. Sensatec can be cleaned with a product intended for vinyl.

What type of interior cleaners do you have in your stash....have you simply just tries using a different color-non bleeding MF and wipe it.

I would not hesitate using a HIGH PH cleaner to wipe it off and call it a day

I see the stain, but wonder if it’s dye transfer from the MF. Maybe test that - use the cleaning solution on the MF and rub on a white terry cloth rag/towel

Seems a little funny. You didn't say what you had the MF towel dampened with. If it was water, then the yellow smear was probably something already there, not a bleeding MF, and the MF just spread it around. If that's the case, and the damp MF was water.....I'd go with something along the lines of Charles CJ421 suggestions.....OR......use "Chemical Guys, Colorless & Odorless Leather Cleaner" and consider protecting it with something like "CARPRO CQUARTZ Leather 2.0".
