So the reputation points that you see when you click on your name will be the only ones shown going forward. Right now while I work out the math I’m still showing both the old and new. But for the most part you can ignore the old points. Once all the sites move to the new system there will be a full recalculation of the points so no points are lost. But right now depending on where the appreciate was made the points will go into one bucket or another. The new website and the app are in one bucket, all the legacy forums are in another bucket

The green dot is unlikely, the reason is that who is online is not a really good reflection of reality and there are also some privacy concerns to it meaning it would be default to off and someone would have to go and think to set that to on which I think would make it Basicly not used

There is a bug in the G29 Forum as unread "Pinned Threads" appear twice.

apptest I'm living on the new site all the time now, figured that was the best way to get used to it. So am wondering if you plan to implement the post numbers we discussed before. Also, when using the emoji's, they are smaller than in the old site, anyway you can make them bigger? I have to magnify my screen each time I use them so I can see what I'm choosing.

So since this new interface has been rolled out, the menu bar at the top says I have 1 new unread notification. But when I select that, it takes me to my notifications page which is completely empty. Any way to reset this?

The post numbers are in the air for now. I inplentbed the date and time for the post which is what it sounded like people needed the post number for.
As for the smilie size let me look at that more. They should be at their native size but it might not be the case with all browsers so let me look at that some more

Yes, I saw the date and time but its just easier to write...see post #8 than to write ...see post dated 6-12-2026 at 4:38pm

In terms of the emoji size, I decided to take a closer look. So I screen captured them on the old and new site and did a side by side comparison. I'm using Safari. Part of it could be an illusion in that the window they are contained in, in the new site, is smaller and the background is white instead of gray. However, I then noticed that some appeared the same size as the old site but a few were smaller. Figured that too was an illusion, I mean how could that be so I took a few of them, isolated them and superimposed them and it was true.

In any event, I'd now say that if it's not a general complaint, don't spend any time on it, its not worth it.

^ Agree about the post numbers. Yesterday someone was pointing something out in a post I made (I make many in this particular thread) and it made it perfectly clear which post he was referring to.

Edit: actually it was the day before yesterday (6-18-2026)

FYI.. .. The Delete All command in the Notifications section is no longer deleting anything for me. (Safari 26.5) This started when the Delete All button changed to add the right pointing arrow. If I go back to the old/current site, I can Clear All and they disappear but then when coming back to the new site, the Notifications number is still showing I have two notifications but when clicking it and going to the Notifications page, there aren't any. So clearing them from the old/current site works but Deleting them from the new site doesn't anymore.

If I click the three dots ... and select Delete All, it does delete them

I cannot manage to delete a pic once it's uploaded into the new post or edit post window. I click the X at the top right of the pic but the pic continues to remain, as evidenced by my last pic where I edited the pic on my puter and then posted the edited version and then tried deleting the first one but couldn't.

I'm using DuckDuckGo browser and every time I switch forums I have to sign in again. Is this a browser or site issue?

I was having that issue on another browser till I checkmarked "Remember me", that solved it

apptest , not sure if you are still looking for feedback or how to get it to you but I been noticing a diff format for Bimmerpost generated emails from the beta site vs the current site. No biggie but today I received both formats pertaining to the same thread that showed up in my inbox next to each other so it was easy to notice the difference. So I decided to comment on them.

• The From field friendly names are diff. The current site describes which forum it's from and this is preferred, especially when receiving emails from diff forums. This makes it easy to eye scan which emails are from which forum. Having them all say Bimmerpost, no matter which forum its from, is too generic
• The Unsubscribe link in the current site is straight forward, one click to unsubscribe and then one more to zap the browser tab that it opened. While the new beta site unsubscribe/manage subscriptions page may not be functional yet, it appears its going to require more clicks to get through it when all I want to do is unsubscribe from one thread
• The current site clearly lists the Original post someone made (--Quote (Originally by xxx)--- End Quote) and the reply to that post by someone. It just makes for easier and quicker reading than the beta site's format

Obviously either format will work but if you're flipping coins, I'll take the existing site's format over the beta at this point

Ok the smilies should be sized differently, with the larger ones more easily seen. the downside is that the entire box might be bigger

Its possible you are viewing an older version of it, try holding SHIFT and pressing the reload icon (inside the address bar) while on that notifications screen, then press the delete button and see if it works

During the transition between old and new sites this can happen, may I ask which forums you are jumping between I can probably add a fix for those specific ones

Thanks for the reply and tip. I went to the Notifications page, hovered over the Delete All button, held down the Shift key and clicked the button. I got a pop up that asked if I was sure I wanted to delete all. Instead of answering that pop up, I canceled it and went back to the button and simply clicked it without the shift key just to see if anything had changed and it did. I received the same pop up as when I held down the shift key, this time I confirmed I wanted to delete all and it did!!! Super, thanks!

It kinda solved it but I noticed the appreciate button has disappeared.

Also is that a mobile version? The desktop is annoying to work with on am Android.

The beta site is in constant flux because it's actively being developed/worked on. I see things quite often that don't seem to work but they do upon a browser reload or sometimes I just sign out and back in and viola, it works. Not sure if there is a mobile version of the beta site yet, I only use desktop versions.

FYI apptest , the other day this issue was fixed but today the Delete all button will not delete anything, I had to delete each one individually. I'm on the same browser as before.

TBH I haven't changed anything with notifications for a few weeks so it makes me wonder if your cache is still holding onto an older version. what I did is try to reset the cache on my side, can you try now and see if anything works?
