What does BMW NA offer its best customers?
Some people who post here are, I would guess, among BMW’s most loyal customers. And I’d also bet that BMW NA knows who you are and goes out of its way to coddle you more than “regular” customers. The company is also likely to keep these programs and offers quiet.
But you don’t have to. I’d love to know what BMW has done for those on their fifth 3 Series, their third M3 or their fourth X5. C’mon..share. Let the great unwashed in on the amenities BMW offers its best customers.

Now looking over this list, it seems perhaps a bit excessive. |

I get nothing. I do know the GM of the dealership and get a nice talk with him.

The last useful NA program I benefited from was European Delivery, but that was killed in 2020. Quote:
I'm not sure when or if there will be the 12th. That has little to do with lack of BMW NA relationship, as much as decline in styling and value proposition of their product (now majority light truck) lineup. YMMV, a

Well, if you join the BMW Car Club of America and buy BMWs, you often get a check from BMW of North America after the purchase. I'm on BMW #11 since 1994 and I think the total of rebate checks that I've received from BMWNA is $6,500.

Well that hasn’t worked for me. Been a member for over 25 years and they refused every rebate since I got a rebate from BMWNA at purchase (either a fleet rebate or a loyalty rebate). My rebate from BMWCCA program has been zero dollars.

Sad to say but true. When we bought new BMW sedans and SAVs from 2009 through 2013 we would get mugs, hats, Keyfob cases, and sport shirts with the BMW Rondel embroidered on the sleeve. Now, in 2026, essentially nothing but some short cans of Diet Coke while negotiating the final price. It’s almost like they’re doing me a favor by letting us sit in the vehicle or take it for a test drive. The only reason I would by one in the future is because I love their vehicles so much.
Hate to say it but their sales team is much like Toyota dealerships. “If you don’t buy it, the next buyer will.

I get to drive around in a newer BMW when mine is in the shop.
I get emails from the dealer with new vehicle incentives. I get all the bottled water/coffee in need when I'm there for an appointment. I get a free car wash after the X5 has been serviced. I get free wipers after an oil change.

When I purchased my first M car in 2017, the salesman made me feel like a million bucks. The entire experience was impressive and I left the dealership with a couple hundred in free swag from the gift shop. My wife and I were blown away. We went back a few years later and purchased a brand new X5.
Before Covid, we'd take our vehicles in and get a BMW loaner every time. Now, we get any random rental car the nearby Enterprise has available. Since 2017 I've purchased 4 M cars and 3 non-M cars. When I step into the dealership I don't feel any different than if I stepped into a Hyundai dealership. To answer the question - I've never received anything from BMW that elevated my experience beyond a "typical" dealership experience from lesser brands, since that first M3 purchase. Am I entitled to special treatment? Absolutely not. But did I expect a bit of a higher bar from a premium brand? Yes. |

Same dealership since the early 1990s. Always act like we know each other and when I purchase a new car they never try to sell needless add ons to increase their profits, or insult me with a ridiculous starting bargaining figure. If I pay a little extra for service opposed to an Indy I feel the piece of mind is worth it. But, have found out oftentimes they charge less.

More surveys than everyone else.
Well, the dealership is nice to you. I love my local dealer, but they gotta make it too. I do get carwashes, coffee and water. I don't like the carwashes. I do it better. Shawn |
